A great opportunity to make a promotional video for a product that I have enjoyed on many an occasion. Kris is a true artisan baker and he manages to produce fantastic results from a small kitchen. A challenging space to work in while not trying to disrupt filming or, more importantly, baking. The brief for this video was to create something for social media and I decided to follow the creation of The Pantry’s famous pies. Although, given the nature of any chef work, there is always more than one thing happening at any one time. I’ve probably got enough footage to create promos for several of his products or maybe a small documentary on Kris’ food philosophy.
