How do I make a video for my business?
Detailed below is a 9 step process we use for video productions. You’re welcome to start it on your own or with our free video production brief consultation form or just give us a call if you rather talk to us first. We’ve broken this down into 4 video objectives that are proven to guide people down your marketing funnel:

|Conversion||Your business has been considered and these videos help close the sale|
|Retention||These videos ensure repeat business|
Tell us what your audience would like to see based on your knowledge of them. Consider the following:
- Your ideal customer profiles or user personas.
- Common problems that your audience need answered?
- What do you want you audience to DO, THINK and FEEL after watching?
- What’s the one thing they need to KNOW to encourage them to act that way
Congratulations! You’ve just figured out your core message.
This is vital. Consider the following:

- Reusing & Repurposing (can I get more videos out of one day of shooting to maximise my ROI?)
Using the answers to the questions just discussed, you’re ready to enter them into our online brief builder, send us an email or give us a call. We’ll send you a quote to carry out the rest of the production process.
Everything required for the shoot to go ahead is organised at this stage and should have been roughly budgeted for with a 10% contingency; Script (most important as everything feeds off of this), Talent (the person/people in front of camera/microphone), Location(s) (as specified by the script), Props (stuff being used in film), Cameras & Lenses (don’t just pick any camera and lens combination unless rough and ready is what you’re going for as they go a long way to creating the look of your video), Monitors (let you know how things look on the day rather than in the edit suite after everyone has gone home), Lighting (sets the tone natural, dramatic etc), Microphones (good sound makes or breaks a video – people will put up with bad visuals a lot longer than bad sound), Support Gear (gimbals, light stands, cables etc), Wardrobe (what will the talent be wearing?), Make-up (also sets the tone of the piece), Post production costings (VFX, SFX, voiceover, editing)
Shoot day(s). There’s no turning back. Don’t worry it’s going to be a great ride and well worth your investment of time and money.

Review and refine until happy.
If you hire us, we’ll send you the first cut. At this point you can request minor alterations that are inside the scope of the brief (title wordings, trimming excess footage etc). We’ll adjust these to your satisfaction and the final cut will be delivered.
